Meet Scott
Scott Seguin is a founding partner of the firm of CS Law. He has been practicing criminal law for over a decade and has represented thousands of criminal clients throughout Virginia in both the state and federal court systems. Scott has experience handling cases ranging from speeding infractions to murder trials and has secured acquittal of clients facing the possibility of life in prison.
Scott has also been successful in overturning criminal convictions for clients who were not advised by their attorneys of the immigration consequences of their criminal convictions. Additionally, he has obtained pardons for clients in cases where their prior criminal convictions had a negative impact on their immigration status. Scott has also successfully argued to overturn criminal convictions before the Virginia Court of Appeals.
Scott also has extensive experience and brings a results-oriented approach to the field of domestic law. He understands that issues of divorce, child custody, and support are difficult for clients and their families. When appropriate, Scott works diligently to forge compromise amongst the parties to reduce both the stress and cost of custody and divorce proceedings.
Scott completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University where he was selected for the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA) trial team. Scott is an active member of the Virginia State Bar. He has also served on the Fairfax County Bar Association Pro Bono committee and has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono legal work for the citizens of Northern Virginia.
