Christine Derwin is of counsel to Calderón Seguin, PLC. Christine advises clients on all aspects of immigration law, including employment based non-immigrant visas and permanent residency for employees of corporations varying in size from small businesses to large multinational corporations. Her corporate immigration experience includes nonimmigrant visa matters, such as H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1 and R-1 visa categories as well as permanent residency matters involving PERM labor certification applications and complex immigrant worker petitions.
Prior to joining Calderón Seguin PLC, Christine worked with Ms. Calderón at Calderón & Derwin, PLC and at a small boutique immigration law firm in Washington, DC. Christine also participated in the Department of Justice Honors Program (Executive Office for Immigration Review) as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Miami Immigration Court. During law school, Christine also served as a legal intern at the Immigration Court in Baltimore, Maryland.
Christine is a magna cum laude graduate of University of Maryland College Park and a magna cum laude graduate of The Washington College of Law American University. Christine limits her practice to immigration matters and is admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
